This is soooo funny, but mainly a very sad type of funny based on how actually bad the reporting is. I hope the writer realizes there's a little name box where commenters can write WHATEVER NAME THEY WANT...

That second article also noted that he frequented "Web sites that celebrated radical Islamic ideologies and that he had exchanged e-mail messages with like-minded people, some possibly overseas."

Which radical websites? What the hell does "like-minded people" even mean? He has friends overseas... I used to have a pen pal in France-- am I terrorist too? It's disgusting that even in a follow up that disproves an earlier statement, the NYT is still trying to validate their suspicions that I honestly believe are founded on racism.

This is so reminiscent of something that I experienced this weekend at Friendship Games, when apparently some other schools (and some in our school...actually a lot in our school I think) didn't appreciate our politicized themes because they seemed preachy and elitist. So yeah, it's hard to mobilize and concomitantly keep that balance, i.e. realizing when it's okay to be hella activist and when you get to the point of perhaps misrepresenting your community. I dunno ><

We are still better than Harvard. They bet against interest rates and just agreed to pay 500 million to settle their bad bets. Yes the stock market is not investing, it is betting. You can lose big if you take to much risk. Buy dividend stocks as that is the closest to investing as possible.

As the economy falls people here show their true colors. I see inner hate a big problem that boils over into acts later. People lose their jobs, money, girlfriend, boyfriend, and they just head downhill from there. I don't see people take responsibility for their actions.
